Torrey Pines Institute for Molecular Studies in California is located on the General Atomics campus in the heart of San Diego's biotechnology industry, near The Scripps Research Institute, the Salk Institute for Biological Studies, and the University of California, San Diego. In 2007, the Institute expanded into Florida and a new facility is being built in the Florida Center for Innovation in Port St. Lucie.
