Employment Opportunities
Torrey Pines Institute for Molecular Studies in California
is located on the General Atomics campus in the heart
of San Diego's biotechnology industry, near The Scripps
Research Institute, the Salk Institute for Biological
Studies, and the University of California, San Diego.
In 2007, the Institute expanded into Florida and a new
facility is being built in the Florida Center for Innovation
in Port St. Lucie. The Institute offers competitive salaries,
excellent benefits, and a creative and challenging work
environment.
The importance of the Institute's achievements has
attracted internationally renowned scientists. In the
past two years our research staff has doubled, enabling
us to expand our focus to include the development of
improved diagnostics and treatments for many diseases,
such as multiple sclerosis, AIDS, heart disease, diabetes
and cancer, as well as the design of improved bone marrow
transplant therapy, vaccine delivery technology, and
more. In addition, pain management compounds discovered
at the Institute are in clinical trials in collaboration
with a pharmaceutical company.
TPIMS does not accept unsolicited
resumes from individuals interested in future employment.
Applicants must be applying for available posted positions
and must follow the application procedures outlined.
